MOTORCYCLE SATELLITE RADIO MOUNT
|
EXAMPLES
|
Mounting Sirius, Delphi or other XM radio on a motorcycle IS doable – and we can help!
Just follow Steps 1-3 below and you've got a solid mount.
For more flexibility, see Options 1-3 at right.
STEP 1: WILL IT WORK WITH MY RADIO?
Many satellite radios have a cradle with the 4-hole "AMPS" pattern or diamond-shaped "RAM" pattern
right on their backside. (YOU MAY NEED TO REMOVE THE SUCTION CUP.)
If so, this is all you need! If not, you may need to find your own cradle.

(NOTE: this video does NOT demonstrate use of optional equipment listed at right.)

STEP 3: PURCHASE BASIC ECADDY DELUXE KIT
This kit mounts on a round bar: motorcycle handlebars, engine guard bars, etc. (7/8" to 1-1/4" diameters). See the sizing chart below.
To see other mounting options, click here.
Kit includes:

- eCaddy Deluxe holding plate: multi-faceted lug offers
SIX different angles. Includes four application screws. Plate area
dimensions: 1-13/16" x 1-1/2" x 5/16".
- Mounting bracket with UltraSecure: slender allen screw
that installs cross-wise after sliding the plate in means you'll
never lose your sirius or delphi radio!
ROUND BAR SIZE GUIDE
(check bar diameter before ordering)
- 1" (round) - fits most stock Harley Davidson; Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Victory motorcycles
- 1-1/4" (round) - fits "big bar" kits; engine guard bars; some Harley-Davidsons
- 1-1/8" (round) - includes a 1-1/4" bracket with clear EVA insert. For the tightest fit, choose this option if
a) you need to mount on a bend or where cabling may interfere with bracket mounting, or b) if you have a slightly eliptical
1" bar. NOTE: This is the best round-mount choice for Harley Davidson Electra and Ultra Glides (also see Harley controls mount)
- 7/8" (round) - includes a 1" chrome bracket with black plastic insert.

OPTIONAL ITEMS
You can mount your Sirius, Delphi etc. using the basic kit (steps 1-4 at left), but riders often request some additional capabilities...so here they are!
OPTION 1: DO YOU WANT ULTRATILT?
UltraTilt allows you to angle the XM radio in ANY direction you choose –
for better visibility or to reduce sun glare.
We highly recommend the use of the UltraTilt when used with the Harley or
Gold Wing controls mounts, or the farther from the center you intend to mount your radio.

(Also see photo and customer comment at bottom of page.)
OPTION 2: DO YOU WANT ULTRATECH?
If you want to get your Sirius, Delphi, etc UP or OUT a bit ... The UltraTech is for you!
When used with the eCaddy Deluxe kit, your radio can be mounted at not just six angles -
but TWELVE angles! (Combine it with the UltraTilt, and there's literally NO limit to where and how you can mount!)

And there's MORE: The UltraTech plate can be bent up to 120 degrees! Now you have another option for those hard-to-mount electronics!
NOTE: Shown above with eCaddy Deluxe plate. See more photos here.
OPTION 3: DO YOU WANT WEATHER PROOFING?
The Aqua Box gives your Sirius, Delphi, etc the protection you need!
The "Flex-Lens" cover seals solidly to repel water, AND it allows you to touch/operate buttons/dials through the screen.
Power, earphone and accessory cables/wiring can be routed through a moisture-repellant baffle at the back.
Marine-grade construction includes stainless steel pins and hardware. It's also lockable (although a lock is not included).
See more photos here.
OPTION 4: DO YOU NEED POWER?
If you prefer not to run your satellite radio from batteries, use the PowerLet to run to your motorcycle's battery.
Options include a standard cigarette converter and a mini-USB (check your satellite radio).
"The UltraTilt works great. I am VERY satisfied with it
and the mount after having used them on a 600-mile ride this weekend.
Very high quality in both pieces and I recommended them to fellow riders!
Thank you for the great service and for providing items that are actually
"Made in the USA." I really appreciate all you have done, thanks again." - Dave
