Mounting Garmin GPS on a motorcycle IS doable – and we can help! Follow the steps below to find out if the eCaddy Deluxe will work for you! STEP 1: CHECK THE LIST Garmin Nuvi GPS Mount (series 200, 200WIDE, 300, 500, 600, 700, 800, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1600 & 3700): Use the eCaddy Deluxe WITH a "cradle." We have the cradles available (see ordering page). Garmin ZUMO 500 and 600 series GPS Mount: Use eCaddy Deluxe with Garmin's "motorcycle mount" part #010-10859-00 (usually included in your kit; suggested retail $85.00, see garmin.com). Be sure to say "Yes" to the Zumo question when ordering so we send you the right hardware. Garmin Quest GPS Mount: Use eCaddy Deluxe with Garmin's "motorcycle mounting kit" part #010-10610-00 (suggested retail: $72.50, see garmin.com). Garmin 2600/2700/2800 series GPS Mount: Use eCaddy Deluxe with Garmin's "motorcycle mount" part #010-10495-01 (suggested retail $19.98, see garmin.com). Garmin StreetPilot C300/C500 series: This is not the best solution for this larger GPS units. Garmin hand-helds (e.g. eTrex, MAP, etc.) - if you can put a belt clip on them, or buy a "holster" for them that includes a belt clip, purchase the eCaddy Lite. NOTE: Many GPS units have the 4-hole "AMPS" pattern or diamond-shaped "RAM" pattern right on their backside. (YOU MAY NEED TO REMOVE THE SUCTION CUP.) If so, all you need is the eCaddy Deluxe. Other units require the purchase of a “cradle.” If the cradle has either pattern on it, you can use the eCaddy Deluxe! STEP 2: VIEW THE VIDEO (or SLIDE SHOW) * Click here to view "How to Use the eCaddy Motorcycle GPS Mount (includes UltraTilt)" as a Windows Media file For slide shows: * click here for GPS with UltraTilt * click here for GPS WITHOUT UltraTilt STEP 3: WHERE DO YOU WANT TO MOUNT YOUR GARMIN GPS On a Round Bar (usually a handlebar, but could be an engine guard bar or other) On the Harley-Davidson Controls On the Gold Wing Controls On a flat surface STEP 3: DECIDE IF YOU WANT ULTRATILT UltraTilt is an additional (optional) part that allows you to angle the GPS unit in ANY direction you choose – for better visibility or to reduce sun glare. STEP 4: OBTAIN A CRADLE (if required) To mount most Garmin GPS units on a motorcycle, you need a cradle – a holder that the GPS snaps into. These cradles are each specific to the model of GPS you have. For most Garmin models (Nuvi, Zumo, Quest, etc) we have the cradles available for $15 (they are listed in a drop-down menu during the ordering process). READY TO ORDER??
