The Garmin Zumo 660 & 665
(We provide this installation report from customer Randy P. for your reference ONLY)
Photos Forthcoming...

The only mounting plate provided [in the Zumo kit] is the "hard wire" bracket for the motorcycle. If someone wants to use [the eCaddy Deluxe] as it is, they would have to hard wire the unit to the bike battery which mounts to bracket.

IMPORTANT: The mounting plate did not match the mounting holes to the GARMIN unit which hard wires to bike, holes off about 32 of inch therefore you MUST order the UltraTilt with it. But due to the rubber holes (4) they are pressed and seem to be like bushings. In a nut shell since it was rubber I was able to start the screw and it was snug but will not vibrate out either. Got all 4 to fit.

Further...

I do not want this look where others may. So I open the electronic unit, dismantle the wires going to the mounting bracket, silicone the hole neatly where the cord was. Fought the little spring back in (a must - holds release button in which holds unit to bracket).

Now I have your product mounted to the GARMIN plate (modified) so my Garmin will run off Lithium battery. If you want to solely run off the battery it cannot be done unless the customer does what I did. Which I probably voided warranties but that is the price I pay for keeping clean look on the bike.

Final thoughts...

So if people use your product have to hard wire unit to the bike, fight (4) screws but other that it looks great to me and like the tilt that was what made it work for me.

The Garmin zumo 660 comes with array of mounting hardware - pretty barbaric for the kind of money you spend, "U" bolt that wraps around bars, balky knuckle set up pure junk.
